Journalistics’ Mission is to publish relevant, timely, educational, and entertaining posts about public relations, journalism, and related topics impacting these professions today.

Journalistics was created for public relations and journalism professionals, as well as other marketing, communications, and related professionals who plan, produce, and publish content – or who actively work to develop and execute communications programs – including areas like media relations, social media, content marketing, marketing communications, executive or expert branding, and more.

Journalistics was started in 2009 by Jeremy Porter, a communications professional with 20 years of professional experience developing and implementing strategic communications programs for a wide-range of business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) brands. Porter has launched and built his own public relations and marketing communications agency, has led content marketing, social media, and strategy practices for leading international agencies, and has served as Vice President of Marketing for several technology companies in the financial technology, marketing technology, mobile applications, and software development sectors. For more on Jeremy Porter’s professional experience or to connect with him, please refer to his LinkedIn Profile.

Porter – along with Journalistics’ regular guest bloggers – plans, produces and publishes content balanced between the information needs and interests of active and aspiring public relations and journalism professionals, as well as other groups who are interested in the topics published by the team. Many of these topics are inspired by reader feedback – from readers like you. Please reach out via social media to suggest topics you would like to see published on Journalistics or join in conversations about our posts via Twitter (75,000+ Followers), our Journalistics LinkedIn Group (6,000+ Members), or Facebook (1,100+ Fans).

And thank you for reading and subscribing to Journalistics!
